PROJECT OVERVIEWThis project focused on expanding a family home with additional bedrooms, family bathroom and large environment for operating a business from home. The property, a Victorian terrace with a London (butterfly) roof, was suited to a mansard loft extension, allowing for generous head height across all new rooms. The extension was finished with distinctive Staffordshire Blue Tiles, adding character.
The project was shaped by strong collaboration and clear architectural direction from the client. The new space includes a large multi-purpose bedroom/work area, a generous bathroom with walk-in shower, a smaller guest room, and a spacious landing that adds to the open, airy feel of the loft.
